Where? The Kelvin Club
THE Kelvin Club lent an air of sophistication that this show needed to make the leap from a weird concept show to legit performance art. A combination of mini science lectures and musical numbers, this production sought to explain research based evidence on dating and attraction. The laughs mostly came from the audience participation, but that’s not to say it wasn’t entertaining. Funnily enough, it was also educational – not really the word you’re looking for when picking a random show from the Comedy Fest lineup, but trust me on this one.
Hell, the show concluded with a room full of adults giggling like school kids… the cause of which – a condom and some water. You get the picture. A slick production that was familiar and eye-opening at the same time, this is the show to see if you want to take something away with you. Stay away if you want to switch off your brain and sit through an hour of fart, dick and drunk jokes.
