EastEnd Cabaret were one of our favourite acts last year and with good bloody reason too.
Stage personas, Bernadette Byrne and Victor Victoria are such wonderful (and naughty) creations that you can’t help but enjoy yourself in their company. While there show is more or less a re-hash of last year’s show (with a few original numbers), we’re glad they didn’t change much since they already had a winner on their hands.
They will make you laugh, they’ll make you cringe, they’ll make you tap your feet, but most of all they’ll entertain you.
Our only complaint was cutting out some of the funniest bits of one of our favourite numbers from last year – The Drinking Song. But that’s ok, we can live that.
Oh and if you go to their show (which you must), don’t dare heckle them – Bernadette handles hecklers in the most scathing manner (if they keep heckling for a while) and she will make you wish you’d kept your useless trap shut.
