Review – Sullivan and Bok

Claire Sullivan and Lauren Bok make up this comedy duo from Melbourne. From the start of the show they immediately establish an odd-couple relationship. Bok is the mature big sister-type while Sullivan is the wacky, excited one who begs to play games. It’s a great combination and the pairing works well.

From here we get to spend time with each of the comics individually. Lauren Bok recounts tales of awful customers and how to look your best while exercising followed by Claire Sullivan going completely outside of the box with bizarre tales of detachable appendages and surreal stories of what it must be like to be an ant.

The combination of Sullivan and Bok’s stand-up styles create a wonderfully unique pairing. The mélange of playfulness, wit, absurdity and silliness make for hilarious company. These guys are delightful.
