RRAMP are the Collector, the Archivist and the Electrocat – an endearing comically deadpan performance of hard-hitting electronica dance metal rock, reflecting on unexpected and compelling stories of archives, collections, pets, childhood imaginings and human frailty.

The lady is a collector. She brings home the things she likes. She wanted a band. She decided they were it. RRAMP. Chooks Love Tax Tea Metal
2. What was the most challenging aspect in putting your show together?
Setting up…. packing down… Setting up…. packing down… Setting up…. packing down…
3. Which instrument have you never got round to learning?
The Lap Steel Slide Guitar… My brother left one in the shed 14 years ago and since then I’ve been meaning to don the metal finger slide and have a go.
4. Any country, any decade – when and where would you go?
April 1974… Sweden… Eurovision TV night with friends…
5. What’s your favourite Internet-related guilty indulgence?

6. What makes cabaret so fun for you?
The audience…
7. As a child, which film did you re-watch too many times?
The Sound Of Music… but it still wasn’t too many times.
8. Who’s the biggest celebrity you’ve ever been ignored by?
‘Jerry’… In 1971 Jerry was a large ventriloquist doll who was the celebrated entertainment at a church family camp in the hall out the back. One night, with a torch, my brother and I snuck back-stage and were horrified to see Jerry lying in a box, staring, without a word… We ran back to the dorm and never mentioned it again.
9. Never mind corsets, what other type of underwear deserves to become outerwear?
The Hot Water Bottle… In winter, instead of only carrying one under your dressing gown at night clenched between your thighs… on your way to work, strap it outside your pencil skirt. It’s sure to beat those cold bitter early morning walks to the bus stop.
10. Whose show are you most excited to catch at this year’s Festival?
As many as we can see while we are there!
