World’s Greatest Show Bag is the latest offering from Melbourne sketch comedy group Aunty Donna.
Aunty Donna’s unique brand of absurdist comedy brings sketch back to the people. There’s no one working in sketch comedy in Australia better than these guys. Their show is crafted, tight, fresh, filthy, but most of all it’s just flat out, laugh your tits off funny. The packed house never stopped from beginning to end and it’s because these boys have the balance right. Three very different performers give them the range to pull off any scene required to find the gags, with song and dance numbers to boot, all executed in suit and tie. Aunty Donna might just be the hardest working comedy group in Melbourne and people are taking notice.
Their sketches are highly original, always ludicrous, extremely well executed and very, very clever. Get on board because these boys might just be the next big thing. And did somebody say cum jokes? Well, Aunty Donna has you well and truly covered.
World’s Greatest Show Bag is playing at the Trades Hall, Music Room from Tuesday through Saturday at 9:30pm and Sundays at 8:30pm until the 20th of April.
