Irish brothers Famous Seamus and Sean-Tastic are the two who call themselves the Lords of Strut. In 60 minutes audiences are taken on a rollercoaster of physical comedy, dance and general silliness.
In the opening act of Chaos, you are introduced to the duo as they dance to the KISS classic ‘I Was Made For Loving You’; somewhat reminiscent of a well rehearsed dance routine performed by drunk friends at a house party.
Within minutes of the show you begin to see the personalities of the two performers come to light. Famous Seamus is both sassy and confident. Sean-tastic; the endearing yet slightly dim-witted sidekick.
Throughout the hour, the Lords of Strut treat the audience to a comedic medley of exaggerated facial expressions, mild acrobatics, drag and partial nudity. All served with a hefty dose of audience participation and interaction.
Amongst the abundance of tomfoolery comes the slightly muddled message about following your dreams in an act called ‘Do the Do’. This is where Seamus and Sean request the audience think about their passions in life they are yet to bring to fruition.
The conclusion is an all-in sing-a-long song about sharing the love and bringing friends to see the performance on future nights.
Lords of Strut is a cheeky, laugh a minute show that promises to keep the audience on their toes and in stitches throughout.
