10 Quick Qs – Etypejazz
1. What, where, when and how much?
Etypejazz
The Aurora Spiegeltent in the Garden of Unearthly Delights 4pm
Adults $33, Conc $28, Children $14.
2. Describe your show Twitter style, 140 characters or less:
Celebrating 20 years of etypejazz with the smooth, sophisticated sounds of the 60s from our brand new CD ‘Martini Blue’.
3. A quote/moment that stands out from your show?
–
4. Is heckling allowed?
We heckle each other throughout the show so I don’t see why the audience shouldn’t join in.
5. What is your role in the show?
I’m one of the musicians but you’ll have to guess which one because we are a team.
6. What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to be one of those awesome grandparents who has the best stories and everyone wants to hang out with and buy drinks for.
7. If you could put on (or be in) any show/band in the world, which one would it be?
I would love, love, love to be in Sting’s band.
8. Why would someone not come see your show?
Because they don’t like to have a great time, with awesome people, listening to excellent songs, played by really nice people. They might also not come if they have eaten something a bit off and they now have a crook tummy.
9. In your opinion, what is the worst show/movie you’ve ever seen and why?
I’ve seen a number of Hugh Grant movies, I think one was called Notting Actually and another was called About Four Weddings. I gave up after Music and Bridget Jones.
They were all terrible and I think they were a trilogy. Nothing happened except some smarmy guy did something dumb but still got the girl.
In the end I just wanted to vomit. Movies shouldn’t make you feel like that.
10. Besides your show, what’s your pick for the Fringe/Garden?
Archie Roach is definitely my pick.
7pm Tues Feb 24th.
Be there.
