2. Describe your show Twitter style, 140 characters or less:

A self deprecating cabaret about turning 40 featuring songs from Jersey Boys, Priscilla and lots of 80s pop!

3. A quote/moment that stands out from your show?

The joys of going to your mates 40th birthday and they’re venue sharing with a 21st. Grumpy face.

4. Is heckling allowed?

Absolutely. Singing along is even better!

5. What is your role in the show?

Writer, producer and performer. Sometimes I sweep the floor after the show too.

6. What do you want to be when you grow up?

I always wanted to be a horror movie director when I grew up and still have a huge soft spot for them.

7. If you could put on (or be in) any show/band in the world, which one would it be?

If INXS are still touring after a recent accident I heard about, I’d love to come on board and have a sing. Such incredible songs.

8. Why would someone not come see your show?

If they didn’t like pop music or comedy, which makes them sound like not much fun at all!

9. In your opinion, what is the worst show/movie you’ve ever seen and why?

I really struggled with the movie adaptation of Les Mis. I kept wishing people would just hurry up and die already without singing a full aria on their deathbed.

10. Besides your show, what’s your pick for the Fringe/Garden?

I always think it’s great to take a risk on something you’ve never heard of. Or pick a cabaret show in the Deluxe Speigeltent, I’m surrounded by very good company!

Adelaide at Fringe time is the best city in the world. Get amongst it!
