Review – Max Savage and The False Idols (Australia)

Max Savage and The False Idols provide the perfect soundtrack to a WOMAD Sunday afternoon. Savage has a deep and charismatic voice with a slightly country western edge to his sound. Having grown up going to Womad and this being his first time performing, it’s no wonder Max is oozing energy. Blending soulful lyrics with rock n roll beats, it is a delight to see this Aussie talent rocking the stage.
