Tom Gleeson has the uncanny ability to relate to everyone. His audience members are not one demographic but a collection of assorted people randomly coming together to hear Gleeson’s view on the world or his latest outburst.
He covered the QLD election, Princess Mary, the birth of his daughter, Harold Holt’s disappearance and other seemingly random strands of thought that came together as a great show.
His theatrical delivery is captivating. Gleeson has the ability to take concepts we accept as a society and simplify them to such a point where you question why they exist. He likened a monarchy to everyone playing the lotto and the same family winning every time.
A brilliant show that puts life into perspective, there is definitely a reason Tom Gleeson has been in comedy for 15 years.
