Make your way down to the quieter side of the city this weekend and join vocalists Grant Pearson and Jacqui Yeo along with three-piece band the Secret Agents in an evening of aural and visual delight as they celebrate all things Bond, James Bond. In the elegant surrounds of the ever stylish Promethean, sip on martinis and nibble on a cheese plate and prepare for a completely entertaining evening.
The evening sees talented local musicians pairing live music to those famous opening scenes and credits, playing homage to the Bonds of every era from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig. Precise timing is tantamount when playing along to the pre-recorded backing sounds and footage, and the Secret Agents never miss a beat. The band has a perfect set up in the Promethean with enough space to allow the visual masterpieces of the bond films to shine, and still show off their own talent. Cosy tables and comfy couches scattered around the room give this engaging show a very intimate feel. This really is an enjoyable night out, and one for the bond fans for sure.
Pro Tip: Don’t forget your martini (shaken not stirred) available at the bar.
