Review – The Revolution Will Be Sexual – Eastend Cabaret

If you like your cabaret sophisticated, conservative and beautiful – then this is not the show for you.

On the other hand, if you like your cabaret dirty, crass, sexual and ridiculously funny, then this is definitely the show for you.

The Revolution Will Be Sexual is Eastend Cabaret’s latest show and it’s packed with sexual innuendo (actually, there’s very little ‘innuendo’), great songs and plenty of laughs. Oh and did I mention the show’s about sex? As soon as you enter the intimate surrounds of Le Cascadeur, the ambience engulfs you and you’re set to have a great ride.

Join Bernadette and her strange (but multi-talented) accomplice Victor Victoria as they sing, dance and educate you about ping pong shows, cameltoes, extremely rigid penises, scrubs and sex education with a communist twist. Oh and they round out the show with two brilliant numbers – Danger Wank (a song about masturbation in public places) and the Drinking Song!

They’re bold, brash, sexy and ready to show you a good time.

What an incredibly fun show. This is how all cabaret should be.
