Womad – Kristian Matsson

Folk singer Kristian Matsson might sound like he’s from the good ol’ U S of A, but he’s actually Swedish. With Dylanesque undertones, thoughtful lyrics and an amiable stage presence, he took the audience on a pleasant acoustic journey. The put-on American drawl makes it all feel a little insincere, though. Then again, American accents are all the rage among Swedish musicians these days.
