‘Sex, Drugs and Herbal Tea’ would elude that this show covers lots of bases from the rude and crude to that a little tamer and more sweet; and you’d be right for thinking that! I saw Tommy Little in a sold out performance in the quaint ‘spare room’ at the GOUD and can say with delight that this show impressed.
Little is very funny. He is also very good looking but don’t be fooled by this charmer, sometimes the things that come out of his mouth make you giggle, cringe then giggle again.
The youngest member of the audience was only 15 and I reckon this kid left the show a little more educated albeit a little more confused but definitely got a kick out of Tommy’s tips about the sexual journey he will soon be embarking on.
Tommy is honest, maybe even a little too honest (and detailed) but this made me like him even more, he is current, relevant and appeals to everyone with a cheeky side. I witnessed a lady at-least in her 70’s give him a sneaky hug and a kiss after the show, she too had fallen under the spell of Mr Tommy Little. Ladies will swoon and the blokes will relate and everyone will have a damn great time talking, sex, drugs and a little about herbal tea. If heckler gave stars this would get a 5!
I’m now crazy for chamomile (and Tommy Little).
