2. Describe your show Twitter style, 140 characters or less.
Quirky tales from the bizarre imagination of a forgotten imaginary friend! Polar bears, romance, a song about killers, a ukulele, half a ukulele, a unicycle and one very charming songstress!
3. A quote/moment that stands out from your show?
A comedy skit that involves riding a unicycle upside down whilst playing the ukulele!
4. Is heckling allowed?
Heckling is allowed, but no killers are allowed in the audience. Have to be very clear on that. I don’t like killers.
5. What is your role in the show?
to provide 50 minutes of pure entertainment without falling over and breaking something
6. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Not particularly keen on growing up, very happy doing what I’m doing now! I am taking this show to Melbourne, performing in the Melb. International comedy festival and then I have been invited to perform at the Prague Fringe festival – so I will be there in June!
7. If you could put on (or be in) any show/band in the world, which one would it be?
Cirque du soleil!
8. Biggest accolade/compliment you’ve received about your show?
Well I got 4 stars from the advertiser on my preview night, but that doesn’t really hold a candle to the compliment I received from a very young girl (Aria) who drew me the picture above! I have been getting a lot of beautiful responses from people actually. Sharing personal stories with me, or telling me about something that they are inspired to do.
9. Why would someone not come to see your show?
Because there is so much on at Fringe this year that they got so overwhelmed when they picked up the fringe guide that they decided it would be easier to just stay home and watch TV, or have the occasional beer in the Garden of Unearthly delights but not see a show! Nooooo! TAKE A PUNT PEOPLE! Get your butt on a seat in a venue and see one of these incredible shows that are all over town at the moment!
10. Besides your show, what’s your pick for the Fringe?
Francesca Martinez “What the **** is normal anyway? Reloaded”
Jenny Wynter “An unexpected variety show”
Stephen Sheehan “A Little HorsePlay”
