10 Quick Qs – The Revolution Will Be Sexual – EastEnd Cabaret
The lovely one and a half ladies from EastEnd Cabaret took some time from out their hectic schedule to send us their answers.
You can also read our review of their show here.

2. Describe your show Twitter style, 140 characters or less.
BB: It is musical comedy cabaret, funny, sexy, a little risqué. You have nothing to lose but your chains… and your innocence.
3. A quote/moment that stands out from your show?
BB: I quite enjoy our new song about an escapade in a German sauna – it has an unexpected twist. And a rave beat.
4. Is heckling allowed?
VV: Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Bernadette likes to get very close (and very personal) with audience members. You have been warned.
5. What is your role in the show?
BB: Well clearly I am the star, I tell stories of my experiences, I sing –
VV: I play lots of musical instruments – accordion, violin, piano and the musical saw – and I sing a bit, too.
BB: You are forgetting that I also play a musical instrument Victy: the ukulele.
6. What do you want to be when you grow up?
BB: I have always and will always want to be what I am now darling – a cabaret performer extraordinaire.
VV: …and I just want to be with Bernadette, really.
7. If you could put on (or be in) any show/band in the world, which one would it be?
VV: Queen. Without a doubt. I would have loved to rock Freddie Mercury’s piano. And his leather trousers.
(I *highly* approve of this answer – Ed)
8. Biggest accolade or compliment you’ve received about your show?
VV: We were named one of London’s Top Ten ‘cabaret superstars’ and had our picture on the cover of Time Out London Magazine, which was rather excellent.
BB: We’ve also had a 4 star review in The Advertiser, and a lovely review from yourselves of course.
9. Why would someone not come to see your show?
VV: If they had a phobia of ping pong balls. On the other hand, we may be able to help them face this fear…
10. Besides your show, what’s your pick for the Fringe?
BB: We highly recommend that you go and see Dr Brown BEFRDFGTH at the Tuxedo Cat; he is a master of comedy and an incredible performer.
VV: And if you like magic, go and see Morgan and West at the Palace in the Garden. They are time-travellers from the year 1888, and they are very dashing.
