This is Siberian Husky are a powerhouse of comedic creativity, and it’s a joy to glimpse into their sharp, absurd minds.
Their latest show tells the tale of The Misery Factory – the world’s premier producer of unhappiness, mishaps and sorrow. We visit the owner, the foreman, staff on the floor, a newspaper journalist, the Worksafe inspector and a host of other characters. Scenes from daily life at The Misery Factory are interspersed with examples of its output. Demonstrations of goods (bads?) such as Misery Product ZNR28 – Inflexibility ring particularly true.
Simon Godfrey and Dan Allemann splendidly combine truisms about industrialism, melancholy, and the need for grief in our life to temper and contrast the good times. The Pizza Room at the Forum is a cozy nook off the foyer, and the venue adds to the camaraderie and fun
