Review – Late Night Comedy at The Producers Bar
Five comedians performed within the hour long show, with the stand outs being the slightly built, dapper Conan O’Brien look-a-like Rhys Nicholson and the dishevelled, gangly Englishman Neil Sinclair.
Five comedians performed within the hour long show, with the stand outs being the slightly built, dapper Conan O’Brien look-a-like Rhys Nicholson and the dishevelled, gangly Englishman Neil Sinclair.
The format is simple: six solid comedians doing longer, stronger sets, a cheap schnitty, home and tucked in by ten-thirty.
While to some in the audience it may seem that the show itself is wanky, those audience members are clearly missing the point and should go watch something simpler, like standup comedy. Fät Wânk, with all its umlauts and accents, is primarily a show about how much superfluos rubbish passes for art these days.
