The Best of the Edinburgh Fest is the tamer younger brother of the Late Show, so if you have parents with a curfew or nostalgic Brits in tow, there’s plenty for all to enjoy.
heckler doesn’t often post 800 word reviews, but when you’re looking at this calibre of talent it can’t really be helped.
The format is simple: six solid comedians doing longer, stronger sets, a cheap schnitty, home and tucked in by ten-thirty.
Rear Admiral affords Adelaideans a great little selection of local comedy, in a cozy little venue, for a reasonable price. And we’ll keep checking back on it, but I’m confident this comedian-run comedy show will continue to attract casual and dedicated audiences alike.
While comedy is still somewhat of a cottage industry in Adelaide, there is certainly some talent around our little town and we’re glad to see Rear Admiral giving locals a spot.
You can’t go wrong with a ticket to the Bulmers Best of the Fest.
The Spokesman is the latest stand-up effort from British comic, Stephen K Amos. Sadly, it feels almost as though Amos has run out of material.
Joanne Shaw Taylor loves guitar, and you can tell. Her influences include Jimi Hendrix and she’s played with BB King, and you can tell.
